Troubleshooting - OpenAI refused your request
When an error occurs, you may see the following popup:
This generally means your OpenAI account quota is exceeded.
You can check your OpenAI billing status at Usage - OpenAI API.
If you are using an old account and already used up all your quota (the $5 they offer is only valid for 3 months), then:
- You can either create a new account.
- Or subscribe to their services by adding a payment method (Billing overview - OpenAI API).
Note that OpenAI free credits have many limitations and you may not be able to use the app properly as a result.
